You can’t come to Sicily without visiting some of its destinations that just cannot be ignored ! As the week is only 7 days long, unfortunately you won’t have the time to see them all as they are too many.  This is the reason why we have selected some of them.

Syracuse

The jewels of baroque style
Sunday from 8am to 8pm. Lunch box provided. €XX pp (includes : travel& guide. Monument admission fees not included)

In the company of our guide you will get to know the wonderland of the Sicilian city of Syracuse.

Echoes of ancient civilizations still resound in the streets of this coastal city, and Baroque architecture narrates its eventual rebirth as sun, sand and sky envelop it with their brilliance. A journey to this corner of Sicily awakens profound sensations, as if one were crossing the threshold of time into thousands of years ago.

We can feel it as we walk through Syracuse’s streets, where precious testimonials recall with great force the splendor of Magna Graecia, and step by step, accompany the visitor through the eras that impacted Syracuse’s history so strongly: i.e. the Romans and Byzantines, Arabs and Normans, Swabians and Aragonese. Here they all wrote a page or two of Sicilian history. Neapolis, Acradina, Ortygia, Tyche, and Epipoli are the quarters of the ancient city. Their names alone suffice to transport us into another dimension.

Malta

Add a special touch of exotism and magic to your holiday !
Wednesday from 8am to 7pm. Lunch box provided. €XX pp (includes : travel&guide. Monument admission fees not included).

You might be surprised to have Malta in the list of our excursions. Well, Valetta, Malta’s capital city is only 150km away from our resort and it takes less than 2 hours to the many Sicilian cross-border workers to go to and come back from Malta every day!

Valletta, The Fortress City, is Malta’s capital city: a living, working city, the administrative and commercial heart of Malta. Valletta is named after its founder, the respected Grand Master of the Order of St. John, Jean Parisot de la Valette. The magnificent fortress city grew on the arid rock of Mount Sceberras peninsula, which rises steeply from two deep harbours, Marsamxett and Grand Harbour.

Valletta is abundantly rich in sites to see and explore, intriguing historical buildings around every corner: votive statues, niches, fountains and coats of arms high up on parapets. Narrow side streets are full of tiny quaint shops and cafés, while Valletta’s main streets are lined with larger international branded shops for fashion, music, jewellery and much more.
